Sustainability
Green Cinema.
Premium production doesn't cost the earth. We build eco-friendly sets, run zero-waste locations and invest in South African communities — on every single shoot.
Eco-Friendly Production
01 / 03- LED lighting and low-power cinema gear as standard on our sets
- Digital workflows — call sheets, scripts and approvals are paperless
- Shared crew transport and consolidated equipment logistics to cut emissions
- Renewable-powered studio spaces and battery-first power on location
Zero-Waste Locations
02 / 03- Refillable water stations and reusable catering kit — no single-use plastics on set
- Set materials, props and wardrobe are catalogued and reused across productions
- Strict leave-no-trace policy: every location is returned exactly as we found it
- Waste is sorted and recycled with certified partners in every city we shoot in
Community Impact
03 / 03- Local crew, talent and vendors hired first in Cape Town and Johannesburg
- Paid internships and skills development for young South African creatives
- Pro-bono production support for community education and NPO campaigns
- Every project budgets a share back into the communities we shoot in
Shoot better. Waste nothing.
Every BETTER FILMS production ships with a sustainability plan as standard — at no extra cost to your budget.
